FOUND, Part One | Dunedin Florida Commercial Photographer

Some of you may remember this adventure session that I shared back in March, during which my sweet friend, Emily, and I walked around Dunedin while taking in all the small-town sites with our cameras at the ready. I shared with y’all in that post how she introduced me to one of her favorite local home decor shops, FOUND Treasures for Living, and how we were graciously allowed to photograph anything and everything we loved inside (again, this was basically the entire store). We had absolutely lovely interactions with everyone there that day but I didn’t think much more of it….until the owner, Sarah, reached out to me and asked whether or not I might be interested in coming back for a commercial session! She explained that they are in the process of completely revamping their website and she was looking for someone who could come in and capture their most loved items along with a few specialty, seasonal, and/or one of a kind pieces…..I was so excited that I probably responded with something very mature and business-y, like, “Oh my goodness, I would LOVE to!” 😉

I am beyond thrilled to have the ongoing opportunity to serve Sarah and the shop in this particular way! I have such a hard time putting into words my feelings about that little store, but there’s just something about it that feels home-y and classy and welcoming and lovely and dear, all wrapped up in one incredible space! And Sarah herself is all those things, too. Since this shoot, we’ve continued to meet and talk and dream and share, and in her, I’ve found an inspiring creative who isn’t afraid to dream big and step out into uncharted waters. I’m so very thankful to know her, and to have the honor of documenting the heart of her shop!

PS – I had WAY too many favorites to squeeze into just one post, so be sure to check back next week for Part Two + Part Three!
