Cheers to Monday | September 26th

The Week in Review | September 20 – 26, 2016

Today is going to be all sorts of fun, so I’m going to keep this intro short and jump right in to Cheers!

Here are a few of the highlights of the past seven days!

-I’ve talked about our sweet friends, the Finleys, here on the blog before. We met them at our church’s Foundations class several months ago, and ever since, have been having regular Monday dinners/holiday cookouts/framliy time together! This past Wednesday was their son, Noah’s, first birthday, and Ami asked me to help them celebrate with cake smash photos….ummm, yes please!!! She had done a PHENOMENAL job collecting and creating themed details for his party (more on that below), so we were able to use those to style his shoot in the same Dr. Seuss theme!!! This is the sneak peak I posted to the business page that night, and I still can’t get enough of his cute face!!!

-Just a little over one week ago, Luke and I drove up to Wesley Chapel so that I could shoot a small business branding session for a fellow Tuesdays Together friend who’s getting ready to launch her new business in October! This past week, I wrote all about the experience and shared my favorite images in this post! Here’s a sneak peek!

-On Saturday, Luke and I headed up to Jacksonville for Noah’s one year birthday party!!! Again, Ami had done an incredible job with all the details and envisioning the final result, so when we walked it, we were greeted with all things Dr. Seuss! LOVED it!!!! We played corn hole, ate tasty treats, met new friends, and loved having that extra time together in the car (while listening to the rest of the the Alexander Hamilton soundtrack, of course)!

-On the drive home from JAX, Luke set up his phone’s hot spot so that I could get a little bit of work done (because he’s the best), and I was able to get a brand new listing all added to the Salty Pine Paper Co. shop!!! I’ll be adding a few more fall pieces over the next couple of weeks, but I really love this first one a lot! ❤️

PS  – If you’ve ever been curious about the first day that Luke and I met in person after months and months of talking and flirting and wanting to be more than friends, I wrote a whole post about it last week! It’s one of my favorite parts of OUR story! ❤️
